Chardonnay Langhe DOC 2023

The Chardonnay vine is grown on predominantly clayey soil and has medium-sized rounded leaves, as does the bunch which has a yellowish colour. The harvest is generally done in the first ten days of September.

It is pressed and to ensure that the skins and the must come into contact it is left to rest for 12 hours before the actual fermentation. The rest of the processing until bottling will take place in steel containers.

This will result in an elegant wine with an intense, harmonious and fruity aroma with a bright straw yellow colour.

Excellent as an aperitif but also suitable for pairing with appetizers and fish dishes, white meats or cheeses.

The ideal temperature for serving should be around 8 and 10 °C.

Nebbiolo Langhe DOC 2022

The Nebbiolo vine is very delicate, difficult to grow, requires the vineyards to be sheltered, exposed to the south. It is grown on humid, calcareous soil typical of the Langa hills.

The grape harvest takes place in the second half of October as this grape variety ripens late.

The pressing is done with a roller machine that crushes the bunches and separates the grapes with their precious contents from the stalks which will be reused in the vineyard as fertilizer.

Fermentation takes place in conditioned steel tanks which allow temperature control. After fermentation, the must will move on to the maturation and clarification phase in steel or/and wooden tanks until it has reached the maturation stage to be bottled.

Before going on sale, the wine is left to rest for 3 months in the bottle away from light.

It is a wine that pairs perfectly with meat-based dishes or mature cheeses. To best appreciate its organoleptic characteristics it should be served at a temperature between 18-20 °C.

Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore 2022

The Barbera vine has a pentagonal leaf and has medium-sized bunches, it has a thin and intense dark blue berry with a very juicy pulp. It is grown at an altitude of around 300 meters above sea level which makes it rich in polyphenols.

Barbera Superiore differs from Barbera because it has a higher alcohol content and must be aged at least one year before being consumed.

Its vinification is done by letting the skins macerate in the must for 8/10 days with 2/3 daily punchings at a controlled temperature, after the malolactic fermentation it remains to refine in wood for 8 to 12 months.

The wine should be served around 16/18 °C and goes well with tasty dishes, especially meat-based ones. However, it is excellent paired with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses.

White muscat is the most widespread and also the most prized.

The harvest operations are carried out in the period from the end of August to the beginning of September. The harvest is done only when the bunch has reached an excellent level of aromas and acidity while maintaining a high level of health.

The winemaking takes place with a soft pressing, and consists of a clarification phase with cold storage and a fermentation and second fermentation phase in an autoclave at 18°C which can last up to 25 days.

All this ends with bottling.

The wine has an unmistakable straw yellow color, an intense aromatic scent rich in floral nuances with a balanced sweetness. It is a young wine and it is best to consume it within the year following the harvest.
